Senior PHP Backend Developer

JOB SCOPE:

We are looking for experienced PHP developers for backend programming tasks. You will support our new developments on the backend side, as well as maintain our existing systems in a modern, microservice-based (SOA) architecture.

• Development of PHP microservices
• Writing high quality, reusable, „clean” code
• Writing tests
• System design
• Recognizing and fixing architecture related issues, performance optimization
• Database design
• Database query optimization

We look for someone who,

• lives in Budapest, or in the agglomeration
• is willing to learn and improve continuously,
• has minimum 5 years experience in PHP programming,
• experienced in modern PHP (PHP > 7.0) programming,
• has experience with one of the major PHP frameworks (eg. Symfony, Laravel),
• knows OOP principles, SOLID concepts and design patterns,
• has a stable knowledge of general relational database principles (normalization, planning, indexes, transactions, query optimization techniques),
• has a stable understanding of Git,
• experienced in working in larger software development teams,
• has a stable experience with Linux,
• has at least an intermediate knowledge of English,
• has good communication skills,
• has a proactive, solution oriented approach,
• finds joy in doing a great job and building something significant!
